Glavius Adaeus: Part 3
Akai, the Seven City Capital, was the center of trade, culture, and science. All other nations bowed to Akai, and the Beast King, Ozukette ruled them all.
The king often humored subjects in his extravogant Palace Rotunda. Today, one request brought a smile to the king’s face. Ozukette summoned the boy, a last survivor of a village he’d slain, come to pay homage to his people’s killer.
As the teen, Glavius Adaeus approached the throne, he sobbed, not for his fallen people but for what he was about to do. His crystal flared, drawing the breath from the Beast King’s mouth. Ozukette spoke no final words when he fell.
